Default Richland Rd. Lenoir NC 4-16-11

Well, we've actually closed off the trip to anymore vehicles, but I'm so excited I had to post something up.

For one, new ground for me, besides my recent Dawsonville GA trip I've been doing Brown Mountain and Hurricane Creek over and over again... Time for something new!!!

I don't know much about the place but it should be like Hurricane Creek Rd, but perhaps quite a bit more challenging, talk of watch your rocker panels and skid plates being necessary. It's also reasonably close to me, and looking at the map there may be more worth exploring in the area. This is in serious 'backwoods' NC, 'I hear banjo music, wheel faster...'

Haha, nice bumper that fella had. The FJ handled that like a pro! Have to admit i use to not care for the look of them when they came out years ago, but have grown a lot on me. I really like them when they have the army green paint job too. Maybe a few years down the road i can find a used one for a good price. Then have my scooby & it's big brother

Oh and.. We'll be waiting for pictures - Have a good trip!

Pouring down rain right now, but that's not stopping us.

dirtyRU, love that green one, I haven't seen one yet though. Two of the folks I'm going with are Foz to FJ converts.

Hopefully rain was all you had Carl. From what I heard on the news, it was an eventful & dangerous day out there. 7 people dead from twisters was the latest i heard.. Hope you guys stayed safe, give us an update!
