Default DIY lightbar

I spent sometime on a new project. I was tired of watching my lights bounce around constantly. Using some conduit and flat bar bent and welded up a 3 tab light bar. Ive got another 1000FF on there already but haven't gotten any new pictures. I'm really surprised how rock solid this thing is.

Nice light bar. How did you have your lights before?

This is a really sensible mod that has been very well carried out. Good work.

Nice. You should do a DIY right up.

They were mounted on some aluminum bar that was screwed to anything that seemed solid behind the grill since I busted the grill loose from just having them mounted to the grill.

Ya I've been busy with school and work in myrtle beach. Being at the beach means theres not as much reason to have an offroad car. I figured I'd check in after a while.

I wish I had taken more pictures during the process. I guess with a little time in solidworks I could do an assembly. Sounds like a good project when I get bored.

Glad you checked in, yup, school and work can keep you busy. Did you do your own welding on the light bar??? Still a skill I need to acquire someday.

Carl, with your abilities at bending / cutting / drilling / shaping metal I recon you would readily pick-up the 'hot sticking' skills as well!
