Default Swap and flip lateral arms.

This came up in a threadjack elsewhere...

Why do I want to do this?
What car can I do this on?
What are lateral arms?
Pics?

They run between the diff carrier & the wheel hub. The sway bar link attaches to them:

When lifting by 2", instead of getting longer links you can invert the arm so the link attaches to the top instead of underneath, effectively raising the attachment point by ~2" matching the lift.

Simply put the RHS arm on the LHS & vice versa, so the arms are swapped sides & inverted

Dumb question #2: why would you do this? What does it achieve? What happens if you don't do it?
