Just got a call from Suttons. My ute should be in their yard around Monday next week. Because of the GVM upgrade I am getting, delivery will take around 2 weeks or a bit more as the paper works takes a while to go through the system.
That's cool. Lets say 1st or 2nd of Dec and it will be home!!

Still not here. Bit of a pain really as I would like to get stuff moving. It doesn't really matter as the tray won't be made until next week and ARB have a front spring shortage. Maybe it will be my Xmas present

... I have learned silver... that you can't hurry things. Just quietly I hope we don't ever have to go through setting up a ute for a very long time. Very happy now, but OMG.. what a saga!

Best regards,

I think I have it sorted....in my head anyway . It's more a matter of the cost of things and then getting them fitted. Next week i'll post a pic of my spare room with my collection of ute goodies. It's not half bad .

lol! I have the giggles. I thought I had it sorted in my head too until we were lucky enough to get a newly designed tray that wasn't quite what we expected! Patience, I have learned.... is a virtue ;-)

Best regards,

Well it is here. Fairly annoyed with Suttons lack of communication though. I sent them an email late last week and they advised it should be early this week and I sent another email on Wed and they replied saying the car was here!! No phone call, just a reply to my email. ????? Pretty ordinary. I have organised everything by email. The tray is made and getting fitted on Monday and it will be in ARB for the suspension/GVM upgrade on Monday week and then I will bring it home. Lots to get done on it and I will have to pace myself with the money.
I doubt it will ride very good. The front springs and shockies allow for a bar and winch and the rear are 300kg constant to GVM so with just a tray on it could be a bit ordinary. Hopefully I can get the bar and winch fitted soon and the rear will have a trundle draw fitted. This is not your ordinary trundle draw...all steel, no pop rivets..great bit of gear and so well made by a local mob. It has a bit of weight so that might settle the rear.
