Question Dash top compass and mount

Looking for a dashboard/top compass with illumination. Some one suggested Suunto but I could not find one that mounts to a dash top.

I have all the gps doo-dads but I'd rather something discretely non electronic.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Try a boat shop. I have a marine compass in my Foz.

Not sure whether the metal components of the vehicle would cause magnetic variation that would require correction. In a steel vessel magnets are installed to correct this.

I was going to suggest the same thing, but you beat me to it.

I decided not to do the periscope mod, as last time I tried a deep water crossing my Forry floated

Regards
Mr Turbo
