Default High Country meet-ups

Just back from a trip to the NSW / VIC high country. I had the greatest of pleasure bumping into Greg & his partner (Dulagarl) on Mt Pinnibar and Hamish (ALMOSTseen) at Davis Plain Hut. Fantastic to meet you both and trust you had a safe trip home. TroyXT was also along on this NSW Subie Club trip.

Makes me wonder - was anyone else in the high country over Easter?

Was terrific to meet you, Troy and the rest of the crew. I think my partner M might be a little upset that you are referring to the Dulagarl as my partner, but she has said all along that I like the car more than her!

It was great fun listening in to the cruiser drivers commenting on the subies, and the look on some faces when we arrived atop Mt Pinnibar was priceless. If only they knew what is under the bonnet...

Will post some pics and video at some point: I have got full dashcam of the climb up Pinnibar.

That would be great because guess what - when I turned off the dash cam I forgot to press "stop" first so lost the video of the climb!

Sure was, but in a different area around Mt Sterling.

Yeah, Kevin, was great to meet up with some other Subie drivers. It's been a while since I have signed on here. Some of those pics would be great Dulagarl. Now considering a lift, probably before Easter would have been a better idea.

I just joined the NSW Subaru Club and was keen to go on that trip but had to be in Perth for a wedding for the weekend! Next time. Would love to see some vids of what I missed

Ok, here's a start. Its the dashcam footage of the Dulagarl climbing up the last bit of Mt Pinnebar. You can hears some of Kevin / Troy's group on the CB. Enjoy.

Looks like the big 4x4's are a bit surprised to see you up there…!

Excellent, did you have footage of the steep loose section of the hill a bit lower down?

I think they were more surprised when I drove the stock Forester up there.
