Before the lift-

Have to get more pics of after the lift but in the mean time-

^Always had to go to the side in this spot and only had an inch of clearance at the rocker before lifting

A happy snap of me stuck 90deg off the normal track direction:

Note: this was my first ever outing in my Forester. It was still fully stock at the time.

When I first started taking road trips for more than just going to see a certain person or certain people, I had an '04 Acura TSX. When I bought the car, I hadn't really thought about the road trips I would eventually be taking or where those excursions might take me..

The first trip took me to the Grand Canyon.. I saw a sign that said "Arizona Trail" on it. So, I turned off the paved road to see what was down the dirt (and eventually muddy) road..

Here's a pic from that :

It doesn't look too bad in that picture. But, if you go HERE, you can see I got a little more muddy than I intended.. That was a good day, though. A very memorable day too!

My next road trip was further confirmation that I probably needed something with a little more ground clearance..

This one was taken at Grand Tetons National Park.. I believe the signed pointed to "Cottonwood Creek." The road was kind of rough (and unpaved or I wouldn't be posting it here), but I wasn't expecting a water crossing.

More pics from that day can be found HERE.

Yeah, not off-roading like most of you folks. But, it was my first forays into "what's down that unpaved road?"
