^^ Thanks for the tick of approval, SuperRu.

There's another one lurking in the list ATM, I notice.

Just looked at my settings and these boxes are not ticked. So why did I get a message?

Gidday HC

After the posts by Nipper and Subyroo, it seems that once a potential registrant is awaiting confirmation, they can "see" the PM system.

I don't know what can be done about that, it's not ideal .

Our Admins are wonderfully diligent and hard-working at keeping these scumbags at bay. Now that Richard has given his imprimatur, I will help them when I can.

Some days, one or other of the Admins will spend much of the day just banning spammers ... - it should not be necessary, but it does keep this forum very pleasant.

Compared with some forums I participate in, this one is close to heaven!
Some are close to being cesspits ...

^ Thanks, HC.

But my part in all this is incredibly small.
The real kudos should go to the Admins.

We'll (admins) have a look into that to see what we can do to fix it.

Thanks, S2.

The Admins do 99% of this stuff. They're the ones who deserve the credit!

Equally, there is no point letting these mongrels cause problems for any longer than can't be helped.
