That's like stealing, Duncan ...

Someone ought to snaffle that, pronto.

Look at the nice job RedXS made of fitting a series I SG SubaXtreme bar to his series II SG.

Gday Craig - agree, it'll be sweet. The front end changed for 2006 (like Troy's White XT). Even so, some have modified the Series 1 bars for Series 2 anyway.

Mines a Series II SG, built later in 2005 and I fit a series I bar, same as the one in the ad. You will need to get some 10mm plate, cut and drill holes, to use as a spacer when you mount it. But all the holes in the mounting bracket will still line up. You will also have to cut the bumper and use the top bit, as the bullbar was only made to replace the smaller series I bumper. Plus you will have to relocate the washer bottle as that will be a little exposed with the smaller bullbar. But the end result looks awesome, and they are just a few little tweeks to make it fit.

I have a short write up in post 2 here http://offroadsubarus.com/showthread.php?t=6430

At that price it is almost like taking candy from a baby.
