Hey,
First post - good to be here! Just wondering if anyone has been through the Southport lagoon track down south in Tassie, thinking of going down and doing some camping around January.
From what I've seen the track is rated moderate to hard, however, easy on the rating scale is achievable by 2WD so i'm hoping we hit the track at a dry (mudless) time and are travelling on a moderate rating (a rating I presume achievable by AWD).
Has anyone here been down that way? If so around when did you go and what were the conditions like? Did you make it there and back?
