Doesn't take long for the accountants to be blamed.
At the end of the day, Subaru is now experiencing huge success in America, whereas they're just chugging along selling enough Liberties and Foresters to Thrifty, and a few elsewhere. They make more money out of other markets where the new Subarus are successful. I'll be moving on elsewhere after the Forester. I was expecting to keep within the Subaru fold, but not now. Quote:

I think i opened a can of worms, what i ment was designer says :this look its pretty, and the engineers say :it's pretty but not structural/ not able to be mass produced. then usually the accounts get the result and say "make it cheaper!"

![]() ![]() Having had some contact with people who have graduated over the last ten to fifteen years or so, I am surprised at how many cannot write decent English (and therefore cannot read it properly either ... ). It amazes me how they got past their first written assignment in first year, let alone graduated! Not surprising that our Universities are sliding down the rankings ... What do kids learn in school, if not reading, writing and arithmetic? What are the teachers teaching them, if not these basic tools? ![]()
