Question about Sydney dealers

how hard is it to get in behind the glove box.
i have fitted stereos and wiring to cars over the years and am an ex mechanic.
is it a hard job
specialised clips that break on removal etc?
cheers
Jamie

Very easy - remove 8 screws and the whole thing comes out. 3 across the top and bottom; 1 at each side at the middle inside the glovebox

I think I said it in am earlier post here, but I'll say it again just in case I didn't. I have my 05XT serviced at Tom Kerr at Ryde & have been very happy with them so far.

We now both have the Forester's serviced at Subaru Hornsby (which is now part of the Subaru Waitara dealership). I've been there 4 times now, (2 times in the '09, and 2 in the '05) and the service has been excellent! My car was the first to go to the new location at the new dealership on Thursday this week for a service and rego inspection. Couldn't be happier with the service (both customer and actual mechanical service on the car). They know me by name (probably just as the Subie nut ).

And having a dealership on site is always good to have a wander through when you're up there :iconwink:.

That is one of the dealerships I was referring to in another thread. I was there on Friday as it happens getting the polin filters for my cars. Greg was the only bloke who knew that the one for the Impreza was the only filter that was 2 piece. They have a new service manager there now, and he seems ok.

While I understand this isn't strictly a Subaru dealer, they only work on Subarus. Kevin put me onto All Drive Subaroo in Peakhurst. They were fantastic, did my 100,000km service, and found the problem with my car sounding like a diesel on cold starts. To top off the service, they were going to post me a new set of bearings when i thought my new ones had failed (squeaking, and then the dust got washed out, so all was good).

Regards,

Joel
