Is it ok to use larger tires on a 98 subbie ?

Hi everybody,

It has been a while since I last visit this forum.
I am from Rio de Janiero Brazil, I shared with you my adventure experience in my first trip on wet wear tires conditions ! pretty scary

I own a 98 forester and here in brazil is like a marriage without a bailout !
A five year marriage now, and "wife" need new shoes !

I am considering this G051 H/T-S.
But I have a problem.
Here these tyres are expensive and hard to find (US$ 250 EACH !)
I just found the 215 size not the 205 70R 15 for my 98 forester version.

Any comments that you have about buying " large" shoes would be great apreciated !

Those are not quite 27" in diameter and will fit just fine.

I'm running 225/70 15's and no problems,actually made the speedometer more accurate.

My brumby has 31s but im probly gonna take them off soon because there hard on the clutch and take away a lot of torque
