In that link on your OP, in the posters Avatar it says he owns a 1998 Forester, then in the actual post he say's "So today I had a code for the cvt valve body. So some pictures from it".

Now he either owns an updated Forester to what is in his avatar or he has somehow transplanted a CVT into the 1998 Forester. I am :confused:
 
HaHa - I see! The poster is a mechanic and he posts interesting stuff that happens in the workshop, i.e. he works on lots of cars. ;-)
