Now I have had this phone for a while and one of the features that I have found to be okay is the GPS function of the phone. It works amazingly well. In fact I use it a lot of the time. The maps are fairly clear, it even has a function if you are walking around. I have installed Google maps on mine which work well. And for those that are into Geocaching I have installed Geocache Navigator, which uses the GPs satellites for postions and downloads the Geocache info over the 3G network.

All in all a rather fun phone, that gives me little trouble. The Camera is ok and you can shoot video with it. It will play MP3 files.

I have also installed a piece of software called Qik which allows you to stream video to the web.

It might occasionally crash, but that maybe due to the fact that the phone is very rarely turned off. In fact it is recommended that you occasional turn off the phone. also a good idea to update the firmware when a new one is released.

Out of 10 I give it an 8:)

Oh hell... Don't get me started on Geocaching!!!

It really is addictive isn't it. Once you start, you just need to find your next cache.

it sure is great fun. good way to get the kids out aswell.
ive alse got speedcameras added to my phone which some genius made up. when i remember where i got it i will post a link for those interesed. (Australia only)

Geocaching could be discribed as a bit like a treasure using GPS technology. You go to a Geocache website and collect the coordinates and clues etc. And then out into the wild blue younder looking for the buried treasure :)

yeah its just a fun way of treasure hunting, but there are conditions. you cant just take without giving. the person who places the cache sometimes has "rules or instructions" either replace the cache with something of equal or higher value, nic nacs, geocoins or some other crap. great fun and highly addictive, without smokin something. if your in Gods country "QLD" look at https://www.geocaching.com/ or https://geocaching.com.au/
and good gps info here https://www.gpsaustralia.net/forums/index.php?

I've also got a 6110, cheers for the links.
Is there a way to load nautical maps into the phone, ie zoning maps, reef locations for the GBR?
