Will 15" rims fit on a XT Forester

I've put them on my car and they are so close they turn by hand but do scrape.

Less than 1mm would need to be removed. I'll prolly get a set for cheap track day action.
 
Has anyone actually ground the 1mm away and used them? Or is that not really enough clearance to be used for offroading, I suppose debris build up could be a problem

That's exactly what I figured. Plus I love the look of white rally wheels! Now I just need to stop spending money on other priorities, and invest in rally wheels for my Forester.

Wonder if there are any good sources for used rally wheels in the US?
 
You'll need to stick with +48 or slightly less offset (minus 2-3mm maybe) otherwise you'll pull the rim & tyre closer to the spring perch
