Default Outback stereo swap

Gday all
Daughter bought a 2005 outback last week & would like to put an aftermarket stereo in it.
The standard setup has the stereo as part of the whole fascia panel. Can you get fascia panels setup for different stereos to fit?
How have others with this car put in different stereos?

I think you get one of the aftermarket DIN panel kits... do a search for 'subaru 2005 legacy din panel' and a few things pop up.

Just need to get the din kit

Check it fits with your climate control/heater
