I think I passed the toyota version of this in melbs last sunday - it oozed speed and looked pretty awesome, sounded good too - a bit different hearing the boxer rumble from a toyota!

Subaru sold all the available BRZ units in Australia in just over 3 hours from memory - they were sold online, apparently a new record in oz! And I'm not sure if any company has done such a large scale online sale before!

Saw the Scion (Toyota) one a few weeks ago, certainly a sweet looking car.

A couple guys on the RS25.com forum have the BRZ and love it so far. One of them has already done a track day in his and said it handles about the same as his old S2000, but with a tad more control/less power. He is planning for a supercharger kit in the future

Toyota have tagged it as the "86" over here. I believe it is a throwback / reference to the older Celica sports car.

I too saw the Toyota version a couple of weeks ago - looks good!
