Windscreen Replacemant Cost with Eyesight

People are reporting on another forum that here in Australia it costs $2400 to have an OB's windscreen replaced if you have Eyesight as it must be calibrated. Anyone got any experience with this one.
 
My understanding as well.

Make certain that your comprehensive insurance policy covers windscreen damage/breakage.
 
Check with your insurance claims dep, the windscreens and calibration on the subarus are expensive.

Make sure they don't book in O'Brien,or national as both will **** the job up / not know how to do it properly. They still **** up rain sensors on a daily basis
