Something that caught my eye in the 'Western Australia Road & 4WD Track Atlas'...
At the start of the book it has the 'Top 50 4WD Trips' which tells you the grading of each track: Green (AWD), Yellow (High Clearance), Blue (Low Range) and Red (high clearance + low range and possible lockers).
One trip that caught my eye, was the Holland Track, graded green for most of the track and yellow for Mount Holland, so suitable for the forester.
Anyone done, or know people who have done the Holland Track??
Distance is 208km - Hyden to Norseman, total driving distance:
Mundaring - Hyden = 318km
Hyden - Norseman = 208km offroading
Norseman - Mundaring = 688
Total = 1214km which is a bit more than two tanks!
Anyone be keen to do something like this?
