I am still running 13" rims on my "L" series, and I am just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for tyres suitable for them. Most 70% to 80% of time on tar roads the rest on dirt (wish it was more dirt).
Thanks in advance

13" Tyres

I'm going through the same challenge with tyres for my daughters brumby. It looks as though I'll be looking for some 14" Sunraiser? wheels to get more choice. I had Maxxis All terrain tyres on my Fozzie (15") and they were cheap and performed very well. I'll let you know what I find out this week. Check out www.maxxis.com for tyre choice, then contact your local distributor.

Stephendean,

I also have stuck to 13 inch wheels on my L-Series. I run a BFGoodrich 175/75/13 highway tyre normally, sorry I dont know the exact model.

For offroad, I am currently using a Dunlop SP Sport 83-R. They cost me $150-160 ea a few years ago. I got them from Stuckey Tyre Service, Sydney Rd Brunswick, Vic. Great tyres, cannot fault them.

Another option would be Toyo 720 tyres. Last quote I got was around $115 Each early this year.

This would mean a second set of rims, if you dont already have a spare set. Or in my case four spare sets of rims.

Beigewagon.
